This week was a start back to online school for students around the country. We know teachers will have been feeling more nervous than students so Adrienne Buckingham talked to Rowan Taigel, experienced educator and wellbeing facilitator with NZIWR and WhatifPLD, about advice for teachers this week. Her focus on high tolerance and low expectations, establishing the basics, practising self-compassion and being willing to get it wrong are just as helpful for the adults of students going back to school. In this new territory, we all need to lower expectations, be kind to ourselves and each other, and even have some fun.
