Taught by researcher, author of Resilient Grieving and top 20 TED speaker Dr Lucy Hone and her co-director at the New Zealand Institute of Wellbeing and Resilience, Dr Denise Quinlan, the course also includes insights from internationally respected experts in psychology, bereavement, social work and medicine.
Based on the latest research on resilience and bereavement, Coping with Loss is a practical course, backed by science. It carries an important message of hope – that the vast majority of mourners have it within them to adapt and carry on with their lives, without the need for clinical or pharmaceutical intervention, even in the absence of someone they love profoundly.
