How do leaders build whole-school wellbeing?
In this podcast, Denise and Lucy introduce Season 2 of BWTL, talking about education, research and the lessons learned while writing their book ‘The Educators’ Guide to Building Whole-school Wellbeing: A Practical Guide to Getting Started, Best-Practice Process and Effective Implementation’. They wrote this book in response to requests from schools for help getting started on the process of whole-school wellbeing and it will guide educators embarking on their own wellbeing journeys. This series shares discussion with many of the contributors to the book and is an ideal way of ‘digging deeper’ into many of the topics covered in the book.
Dr Lucy Hone and Dr Denise Quinlan are co-founders and Directors of the NZIWR. They are both practising academics who have researched and published on wellbeing in academic journals and popular press. They are deeply committed to improving population wellbeing in Aotearoa and across the globe.
The Educator’s Guide to Whole-School Wellbeing will be available in early 2020.
